The Green Team at Edmonds College engages and empowers students, faculty, and staff to adopt healthy, sustainable practices that benefit our diverse campus, the greater community, and our environment for future generations.

The overall mission of the Green Team is to engage and empower students, faculty, and staff to adopt healthy, sustainable practices that benefit our diverse campus, the greater community, and our environment for future generations. We consider sustainability in terms of both environmental and social justice, whereby our actions allow us to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to also meet their needs.

We are looking to hire new Green Team Student Advocates for the 2021-2022 academic Year. Our ideal candidates have a background and experience in environmental and sustainability issues, are excellent team
players, have a passion for education and community engagement, and can take initiative and be innovative.

This is a paid, student position working on the Green Team in the Center for Student Engagement & Leadership.

Green Team members work up to 17 hours per week. Pay is $13.69 per hour.

Green Team members will work with other members of the Center for Student Engagement & Leadership team to create campus events and activities that focus on sustainability.
